Founded in 1988, Kestrel Guards provides a high quality and reliable Security Service – security guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding & alarm response and electronic security to commerce, industry, local government and the leisure market across the entire South and South West of England from its strategically placed offices in Southampton, Bournemouth, Devon, Cornwall, Winchester and Portsmouth.
The company was founded by Brian Samways an ex Royal Military Police Officer who after joining IPSA in the late 70s went on to become Chairman of the London branch and eventually International Chairman of IPSA. Kestrel Guards is proud to have been a company member of IPSA and the company has grown in size and stature over the years. The company has recently acquired an Alarm Company and is expanding its electronic division. Kestrel Guards has seen a large increase in work during the current COVID-19 crisis as a preferred service provider to many local authorities and healthcare organisations.
