Meeting the Requirements of the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme Course

This one day course has been specifically designed to provide attendees with a detailed, step by step, approach, for meeting and interpreting the specification for Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) accreditation, as laid down by the Security Industry Authority. The course is led by two highly experienced ACS assessors.

The course is tailored to benefit anyone seeking Approved Contractor Scheme including independent Consultants tasked with implementing ACS requirements for client companies.

The course can also be beneficial for Quality Managers of existing ACS companies as well as other employees having day to day responsibilities for the continued maintenance of the scheme. It can also be used by In-House Security managers looking to enhance or align standards with recognised suppliers of quality security services.

It is a full day of training (09.30 - 17.00) and covers the following subjects:

• The requirements (the 89 Indicators)
• Changes to the SIA Self Assessment Workbook
• How it is assessed
• Types of evidence required
• The scoring system
• Gaining extra points
• Typical mistakes which have led to companies failing assessments
