Course Synopsis

A qualification for anyone responsible for assessing, and dealing with, any accidents or emergencies within the workplace. Valid for 3 years.

Who should take this qualification?

Employers must carry out a risk assessment to determine whether a qualified First Aider is required in their workplace, and if so, how many.

Do I need a qualified First Aider at my work?

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to enable first aid to be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with five or fewer employees and to the self-employed.

Participants receive an Advanced Industry Training certificate on successful completion of the course. The course is HSE approved.
